If you haven't yet met Aimee Mullins, you must watch her presentations at TED. She's an inspirational speaker with many life lessons to share. Here's her latest:
In December 2008, Brenda was serving as a volunteer business adviser to an ecotourism project in rural Mali when a water tower built to irrigate a village garden collapsed, killing one colleague and leaving Brenda with a permanent disability—left AKA. Following four months of hospitalization and relocation to the east coast, she now is reconstructing her life: exploring new outdoor sports and rediscovering more sedentary interests. Two years since she received her first prosthesis, she is still learning to walk. This blog is the story of her thoughts, experiences and dreams as she tackles the challenges of limb loss.
